GATHER AT SIX

Welcome to the first of five evenings covering the 5 topics of Gather. During the Gather At Six, we will work to create scenarios, ideas, discussions and pieces of thoughts as well as to build things. This is for you who seek a place where you can be involved and get inspired by co-working with others. This is for the creative thinkers who want to gather around new solutions.

  1. Today's subject will be presented by leadership consultant Zilan Lawan
  2. The group will be divided into smaller groups where each group will be given an innovation tool to work with
  3. Each group then has 20 minutes to create around the specific topic
  4. The process continues with 4 different rounds
  5. The session ends with a summary of all 4 groups

WHAT IS FAKE AND WHAT IS REAL

What can the Internet and AI teach us about our understanding of reality? Virtual influencers such as Lil Miquela, deep fakes and fake news have been hot topics in the past months, making us question what is real and what is not. But why does it matter? Is tweaking the truth more damaging than creating fake images? How much fake is too much fake, and why is faking considered to be any different than fiction?

Moderator

With a passion for personal development and community building, Fardosa Abdalla has dedicated her career to bringing people together. Back then, it was with her work as a teacher in Stockholm’s marginalized suburbs. Nowadays, it is with her female network Fardosa. Fardosa is for new women: new in adulthood, newly graduated or embarking on a new career journey. In this critical time of change, the network offers these diverse young women the tools for leadership and personal development through regular workshops and events.

Zilan Lawan
Leadership consultant

Zilan currently works as a leadership consultant for Gaia Leadership, one of Sweden's foremost educators for the development of leadership both in Sweden and internationally. She has an energetic longing away from the conventional, with a strong focus on giving life to the new leadership. This is based on and adapted to the ever-changing and digital everyday's life, and with regard to the multifaceted society of today. She has previously worked as Vice President of Dalkurd FF; a soccer association that in the course of 13 seasons made an unprecedented journey from division 6 to the Allsvenskan and the men's finals.
